Position: OHD Python Developer (Officiating History Document)
Time Commitment: 4-8 hours per month
We are hiring for development and support of the Officiating History Document. This position will contribute systems that support the OHD backend/auto-updating, offline reporting tools, and offline calculation engines. Knowledge of python programming language is required for this position. Experience with Google App script is a highly desired but not required qualification. You will work with the OffTech team to release updates to each of these products. The OHD is currently supported by a team of a project lead and several developers. The committee is also seeking a testing lead and small team of testers. Once hired, the developers will work closely with the testing team.
Required Skills:
- Familiarity with the Officiating History Document / Games History Document
- Experience gathering/understanding technical requirements
- Experience with a programming language required; experience with python required.
- Ability to adhere to deadlines
Desired Qualifications:
- Experience working with technical teams
- Desire to build user-friendly products
- Experience using git or other version control systems
- Google App Script experience highly desired
- Experience with firebase a bonus
General Responsibilities:
- Support the development of the Officiating History Document
- Work with Officiating Pillar committees when implementing Officiating Products
